Day 1 Highlights

A retrospective look at day one. We started off by opening our respective boxes, sniffing the packaging.. mmmmm packaging. Upon trying all the different races, [the hobbits run funny, the dwarfs start zone is boring, and the elves are just plain poofy] we settled on humans. After completing a instanced scripted mission we were in. Scripted missions play a big part, theres this main quest that runs through the whole game, and all the missions in this main quest have some form of in game cutscene tomfoolery, it keeps you involved, Ive noticed these quests get impossible to solo at later levels.

Come on you.

We blew all our cash on these instruments, we've not played them since.

Things that impressed us most, the graphics, compared to all the other mmos weve played are right up there, and it runs very smooth as well, and I don't own a pimp rig neither. The music was a nice touch, you can play your own music using 1-8 keys. Ok we THOUGHT it was cool at the time, its actually really annoying by the 10th time youve strolled into town and you hear some maestro having an epileptic seizure on the 1 key and you feel like backhanding them in the ...lute. Violent outbursts aside we had a blast on day 1, I loved the scope of the thing, I zoomed out on the Map and I pooped a little, I was that excited. Onto Day 2!

Mmmm draw distance.
